Rant blog…

I don’t think of myself as pretty…I think that at moments, I feel pretty, or nice-looking, but not pretty, or beautiful, or goregous. There are a lot of girls out there that are pretty…

But I’m not one of them.

And I don’t care, because I’d think I’d chose smarts over looks any day.

But not all pretty girls are stupid…

But that doesn’t mean that the pretty ones should talk smack about the non-pretty ones….or that the ugly ones should down the pretty girls.

i agree with working for free bit, but not every artist is an artist by profession!

art = drawings, paintings, poems, books, sculptures and many many more, not your way to earn money.

if making art isn’t fun for you, perhaps you should give it up. art should come from the heart, not bills-to-pay situation.

I’m totally fine with people who does art for their own pleasure, some of the most talented people I know don’t do it for a living.
I love drawing, it’s what I’ve made my life into. I studied art, I lost friends for art, I sacrifice social life for art. And since it’s pretty much the only thing I can do, it’s the way I earn money.

I’m tired of that “if you ask money for your art you’re not a true artist”, it’s the first excuse people use to avoid paying you. Since I devoted my life to this, I guess my only choice to make a living it’s to receive money from my art, ‘cause I won’t be leeching from my parents all of my life. I wish I could!
